Radical presented the RXC Turbo 500 in Geneva. The dimensions of the RXC Turbo 500 have not changed compared to the RXC or the “simple” RXC Turbo.
Thus, the new model has a length of 4.3 meters, width of 1.96 meters and a height of only 1.1 meter. It uses a tubular chassis and a carbon body with the suspension consisting of double wishbones at all four wheels and adjustable shock absorbers. It also has floating discs of 330 mm front and 310 mm rear with six-piston calipers.
The major change, however, is located in the engine compartment. There, the 3.5 liter Ecoboost V6, has new turbos, high-performance injectors and a new intake system thus delivers more than 530 hp and 651 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a Quaife 7-speed gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel.
The car is able to make the 0-161 km/h in 6.8 seconds! Of course, the company announced that this model will attempt to break the record for production cars at Nurburgring.
