Hankook had presented the i-Flex at the Frankfurt auto show of 2013, a tire without air and an integrated rim. Now the tire manufacturer presented a different version of that idea, a tire that does not need air, similar in concept to the Tweel of Michelin.

The aim of Hankook is to pass the iFlex to production. The iFlex is recyclable with the company stating that it has a more friendly manufacturing process and that its production requires less energy.
