Hennessey had presented the HPE700 package for the new Mustang, with the founder and CEO of the company, John Hennessey, taking his personal car in the test center in Uvalde, of Texas and achieving a top speed of 195 MPH.
The Hennessey HPE700 package for the sixth generation of the Mustang GT increases the horsepower of the 5 liter V8 engine from 435 hp and 542Nm torque to 717 hp at 7,000 rpm and 856 Nm torque at 4,400 rpm This increase is achieved with the use of a 2.9 liter supercharger, new air intake system, new injectors, new fuel pump and an upgraded ECU. As a result, the 0-96 km/h comes in 3.6 sec, while the car does the quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds.
