With the new generation of the Civic having already begun intensive tests, both in its simple and in the Type R version, the Japanese company has prepared a final version for the ninth generation of the Type R.
The differences with respect to the “simple” Type R, are only aesthetic. The car features white wheels, a new front splitter and red details on the rear spoiler, the mirror covers and the front spoiler. Its interior features a new upholstery, which from red with black details, now has the opposite pattern.
The production of the car will be limited to 150 cars, all destined for the German market, and available exclusively in white or black color. The car is still equipped with a 2 liter turbo VTEC engine yielding 310 hp with a torque of 400 Nm, sending the power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited slip differential.
