Hyundai has patented a system that detects speed-bumps. This system consists of a GPS, a camera and various other sensors that detect the bump and measure its height, length, width and with this information, the software calculates the appropriate speed at which the vehicle must pass the bump. If the driver drives faster, the system notifies him that we must reduce his speed.
This system may seem unnecessary for careful drivers, but the technology will be most useful in the near future, for autonomous vehicles and autonomous driving.
