Idris Elba with a Bentley Continental GT Speed managed to break the speed record on the UK flying mile at the Pendine Sands in Wales, managing to catch a speed of 290.26 km/h. The previous record, was set by Campbell, with a Napier-Campbell Blue Bird before about 90 years.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed is equipped with a 6 liter twin-turbo W12 that delivers 635 hp with 820 Nm and it is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, having a top speed of 331 km/h.
