Italdesign Automobili presented today the Speciali, a new vehicle that will debut at the Geneva auto show in two weeks. The super car will pass in limited production of only 5 units, with its body being entirely made of carbon.
It will be based on a modular aluminum and carbon chassis, in order to have a low weight. Its body will have vented fenders, a front splitter, big side skirts, a vented hood, a big diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler. It will be equipped with the 5.2-liter V10 engine of the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan, mounted in the center, producing 610 hp, that will enable it to do the 0-100 km/h do in 3.2 seconds, with its top speed reaching 330 km/h.
Its production will take place in Turin, Italy at the factory of Italdesign in Moncalieri. All five Speciali will be built by the end of 2017 and will have a starting price of €1.5 million.
