Kia at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of 2011 had presented the GT concept. Now, Orth Hedrick, head of the Kia America product planning department confirmed that the concept is almost ready to go into production, with the official announcement to be made soon.
The GT will be equipped with a new 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine engine of Hyundai, which will probably be the engine that will also be equipped on the next generation of the Hyundai Genesis.
