Kia has released two teaser sketches of the next generation of the Sportage, that will be presented at the Frankfurt auto show.
The fourth generation of the crossover features LED daytime running lights, new front lights, a discreet spoiler and roof rails.
It will be available with a range of gasoline and diesel engines, among which will be a 1.6 liter engine producing 135 hp, while the turbo version of the same engine will deliver 176 hp. Among the diesel engines, there will be a 1.7 liter producing 115 hp and a 2 liter producing 184 hp.
The interior features a large touch screen in the center of the dashboard, a three-spoke steering wheel, aluminum decorations, a short shift lever, a large center armrest and a red backlight. Sales of the car will begin towards the end of the year.
