The car is based on the Aventador, but it has a different design, reminiscent of the Asterion concept, having new lights, a vented hood, a front splitter, side skirts similar to those of the Veneno, a huge diffuser, a retractable spoiler and triple exhaust tailpipes positioned in the center.

Mechanically it is equipped with a 6.5-liter atmospheric V12 engine, which delivers 770 hp with 700 Nm torque. The power is sent to all four wheels, with the car being able to do the 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, the 0-200 km/h in 8.6 seconds and the 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds, having a top speed that exceeds 350 km/h.

The body of the car and its monocoque chassis are entirely made of carbon, something not seen since the Sesto Elemento. The top half of the body has glossy carbon fibre, while the bottom half is mate.

Despite the extensive use of carbon, the weight of the Centenario reaches 1.570 kg, with the weight/horsepower ratio being 1:2,038. Its length reaches 4,924 mm. and it has a height of 1,143 mm. It stands on new forged aluminum wheels of 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.
