Lexus prepared an origami replica of the Lexus IS, which is made of 1,700 thick recyclable cardboard sheets of 10 mm. The replica has the same dimensions as those of an actual IS, with the cartons have been cut with the aid of a laser. It took more than three months for Lexus to complete the manufacture process of the paper replica which is driven by a motor mounted on a steel-alloy frame.
