Mazda presented the MX-5 Miata Club Edition and the Launch Edition of the car. The Mazda MX-5 Miata Club features 17 inch wheels with tires sized 205/45.
It is equipped with a 2 liter SKYACTIV engine producing 155 hp with 200 Nm torque, which is available with either a manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic, with the power passing to the rear axle via a differential lock. The car also features a Bilstein suspension, a spoiler and black side mirrors.
The additional equipment features Brembo brakes, lightweight BBS forged rims and a new rear bumper, similar to that of the MX-5 Global Cup. The interior features a 7 inch touchscreen, two USB ports and a Bose audio system with nine speakers.
The MX-5 Launch Edition on the other hand, will go into production of just 1,000 units, all available in the US market, based on the Grand Touring equipment version, featuring 17 inch rims. The car is painted in red and features Sport Tan leather heated seats, a Bose audio system with nine speakers, automatic climate control and the i-ACTIVSENSE security package that includes the lane change notification and blind spot warning systems.
