McLaren officially presented the 675LT Spider, the convertible version of the 675LT Coupe, which will pass in a limited production of 500 units with its price starting in England from £285,450.

The 675LT Spider features a new, larger rear part, while it is equipped with a lower sports suspension, an aggressive body kit, a large diffuser and new titanium exhaust with dual tailpipes. It stands on 19 inch lightweight forged wheels front and 20 inch at the rear, with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. The roof can open and close even when the car is moving at speeds up to 30 km/h.
Mechanically it is equipped with a 3.8 liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 675 hp at 7,100 rpm with 700 Nm of torque between 5,500 rpm and 6,500 rpm, while it weighs 1,270 kilos, just 40 kg more than the 675LT Coupe.
The 675LT Spider can do the 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, the 0-200 km/h in 8.1 seconds, with its top speed reaching 326 km/hour. It has a weight ratio of 42.5% at the front and 57.5% rear, having a length of 4,546 mm and a height of 1,192 mm.

It is available in five colors (Chicane Grey, Delta Red, Silica White, Napier Green and the new Solis color). Its interior features carbon bucket seats with Alcantara, 675LT logos on the headrests and carbon decorations. Deliveries of the car will begin in the summer of 2016.
