Nissan presented the new NP300 Navara before its official debut at the Frankfurt auto show, in September. According to the company, the new Navara has an improved quality, comfort and style, while at the same time, it maintains its off-road capabilities and strength.
The design of the NP300 Navara has adapted to the demands and tastes of the European market. Its interior features a completely redesigned dashboard, bigger space and improved ergonomics.
It will be available with a 2.3 liter dCi diesel engine, which is up to 24% more efficient than the engine it replaces, producing 160 hp and a 2.3 liter dCi twin-turbo diesel engine, delivering 190 hp. The Navara will be available either as a 2WD or a 4WD and its engines can be combined with a 6-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The NP300 Navara features also the Around View Monitor, the Forward Emergency Braking, the Hill Descent Control and the Hill Start Assist systems.
