Nissan released a teaser video, of the new Leaf that will be officially presented on September 5. In the video, Nissan tells us that the new Leaf will excite our senses and that it will raise the bar in the market of electric cars, which has increased significantly since the Leaf was introduced in 2010.
Thanks to the Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, the driver is expected to feel more confident behind the wheel of the new Leaf, with the better quality of the interior to also contribute to the extra comfort, as well as improving the overall experience.
The car will be powered by a 40 kWh battery, which will be able to give it an autonomy of 265 km, when it is 100% charged. Its electric motor produces 150 hp (110 kW) at 3,300 rpm and 320 Nm of torque. Its luggage space will be 850 liters. The length of the car will be 4,480 mm, its width 1,790 mm, its wheelbase 2,700 mm and it will be offered in seven exterior colors.
