In 1969 Alfa Romeo presented the Iguana Concept at the Turin Motor Show. The car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and it was equipped with a 2 liter V8 engine producing 230 hp at 8,800 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It had a length of 4.050 mm, a height of 1.050 mm and a wheelbase of 2.350 mm. It could do the 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and it weighed close to 700 kg.
