At the 1996 Paris Motor Show, Alfa Romeo presented the Nuvola Concept. The name of the car, in Italian means “cloud”, with the car to also be named so, because of Tazio Nuvolari, a racing driver, who was racing in the early 1930s for Alfa Romeo.

The car was equipped with a 2.5 liter twin-turbo V6 engine which yielded 300 hp at 6,000 rpm with 386 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm, combined with a manual six-speed gearbox which sends the power to all wheels, with the 0-100 km/h coming in less than six seconds, while the top speed of the car was over 280 km/h.
