Back in 1976, Ford presented the Prima, a concept that stood out because of its removable panels, which allowed it to change forms (station wagon, pickup, fastback and hatchback).

The car was developed in a collaboration between the Ford Design Studio and Carrozzeria Ghia and it was presented at the Turin Motor Show. Two years later, the prototype made its appearance at the Chicago auto show, but the company never made the decision to send it into production.
