Back in 2013, Porsche England had organized a “treasure hunt” for all its dealerships in the UK, to find a car worthy for restoration by their elite engineers.

After two years of search, the ideal candidate was found by Porsche Brooklands and it was a 1988 911 Targa 3.2. After 8 months of work, the car was totally restored.

The car, was dismantled from the inside out and all the old and rusty parts were placed by new ones, while the speedometer of the car was also reset, to emphasize its regeneration.

Practically, we are talking about a brand new car. The car was sold last year and since then it has been sitting in a closed garage with controlled air conditioning. Auction houses describe it as “the best 911 Targa in the world”. The car will be auctioned on November 26, where it  is expected to reach a price between £74,000 and £85,000.
