Lada last summer at the Moscow auto show presented the Vesta concept and today the first production car was photographed in the company’s factory. The car will be available for the public on September 25. It is manufactured in the same line with the Nissan Sentra, with Lada planing to produce 100,000 cars in the first year of production.
From the photos we can distinguish the changes compared to the concept, which are not many. The final specs of the car have not been announced yet, but the Vesta is expected to be equipped with a 1.6 liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with 114 hp, combined with a manual gearbox which sends the power to the front-wheels. It will be available in four trim levels and 18 exterior colors, the final price is not yet known because of the instability of the Russian currency.
