Porsche brought at the Los Angeles auto show the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. The car is equipped with a 3.8 liter boxer engine producing 380 hp. The transmission is transferred to the rear axle, but unlike the street-legal version, the track-focused version is equipped with a PDK automatic transmission with paddles on the steering wheel.

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport weighs 40 kilos less than the Cayman GT4 and it has racing bucket seats, six-point seatbelts and a safety roll cage. The standard fuel tank has a capacity of 90 liters, but there is the alternative of 70 and 100 liters.
Its rear axle is fitted with a mechanical differential, with the brakes consisting of steel 380 mm diameter discs on all wheels. The engine is mated to a dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddles on the steering wheel. The ABS is programmed in 12 stages, while the ESP is configured to work with slick tires.

The car can participate in the Pirelli World Challenge, Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA and many other races and championships. Orders for the Cayman GT4 Clubsport have already starte, at a price of approximately €110,000, without taxes.
