At Beijing Land Rover announced the Range Rover Hybrid Long Wheelbase. The hybrid Range Rover with the long wheelbase of a total length of 5.2 meters, has 186 mm more space for the rear passengers and the rear seats can be reclined up to 17 degrees.
It is the first diesel hybrid car sold in China and it combines the 3.0 liter SDV6 turbodiesel engine and an electric motor, delivering a total of 340 hp @ 4,000 rpm with 700 Nm of torque between 1500-3000 rpm, combined with the excellent 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, having an average fuel consumption of 6.4 liters/100 km, emitting 169 g/km CO2.
It is able to do the 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 218 km/h. It can travel 1.6 kilometres solely on the electric motor with a top speed of 48 km/hour.
