Renault is preparing a new 1 liter engine that will be placed in the Kwid. The model is currently offered with a 0.8 liter engine producing 53 hp and 72 Nm of torque, while in 2016 it will be offered in a version with the 1 liter engine, under the hood.
For the moment the company, has not revealed any details about the performance of the new engine, but rumors say that it will be offered with both a manual and automatic transmission.
