Renault Sport uploaded on their channel on YouTube a video that shows us how the RS 01 was built.
The Renault Sport RS 01 is a racing car with a carbon monocoque chassis that conforms to the regulations of the LMP1 class and it can take part in a new single championship, part of the World Series by Renault to be named Renaultsport Trophy.
The R.S. 01, is equipped with a 3.8 liter V6 engine from the Nissan GT-R that delivers more than 500 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The power, passes on the rear axle via a seven-speed sequential gearbox of Sadev, with the car weighing 1,100 pounds.
The price of the car is €364.000 and the first deliveries will begin at March.
