Singer the famous tuning company that deals with Porsche models presented a “brand new” air-cooled flat engine. The engine that was developed in cooperation with Advance Engineering and Williams, is an air-cooled naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine with a capacity of 4 liters.

The engine delivers 500 hp and can go up to 9,000 rpm. Its parts are made from magnesium, titanium, aluminum, Inconel and carbon, in order to keep the weight low.

The new engine will be placed in Singer’s future creations, with the company to give more details in the coming weeks. What was already known is that the first car will wear this engine, will be that of Scott Blattner, who already has three creations of Singer in his garage.
