Tesla Model S P100D and Model X P100D

Tesla officially announced the Model S P100D, which is one of the fastest cars in the world, when it has the Ludicrous mode, since it can do 0-60 miles/hour in 2.5 seconds, an acceleration time equal to the Bugatti Chiron, LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder.

The battery of 100 kWh of the Model S increases its range to 613 kilometers in the European test cycle and 315 miles (507 km) in the US EPA test cycle, making it the first electric car that offers a range greater than 300 miles.

The new battery is offered also in the Model X, which can do 0-60 miles/hour in 2.9 seconds, having an autonomy of 542 km in the European test cycle and 289 miles (465 km) in the US EPA test cycle, with only one charge.

Tesla says that those who have ordered a P90D Ludicrous and they have not received it yet, can upgrade to the 100 kWh pack, by adding the amount of $10,000, with the owners of the P90D Ludicrous also having the opportunity to upgrade their car as long as they pay the sum of $20,000. The Model S P100D has a starting price of US $134,500 and the Model X P100D has a starting price of $135.500.
