Tesla has announced that the Model X will be launched this September, doubling the available models of the company, which means increases in production and sales.

Oddly, though Tesla revises its forecasts for 2015, setting their new target to 50,000-55,000 cars per year, from 55,000 cars. The difference is not big and Tesla justifies the decrease in their target, by saying that because the two models will be manufactured on the same line, “the challenges in producing the Model X may delay the production of the Model S”. We do not know what these challenges are, but Musk himself described the upcoming SUV as “the toughest car in the world” in terms of production.
