Toyota presented the TS040 Hybrid for this year’s Le Mans endurance championship. The front part of the car has minor changes, with the new suspension ensuring a better response.

The TS040 Hybrid is equipped with a 3,7 liter V8 engine combined with two electric motors, which produce a total of more than 1,000 hp. This year WEC will be the most competitive in recent years, since Toyota will have to compete with three other major manufacturers (Audi, Porsche and Nissan). Toyota will race with two TS040 Hybrid in the league. The first one will be driven by Sebastien Buemi, Anthony Davidson and Kazuki Nakajima while the second one by Mike Conway, Stephane Sarrazin and Alex Wurz.
