Volvo last April had presented the XC90 Lounge Console, which had no passenger seat and now the Swedish company presented the Excellence Child Seat Concept.
The product is aimed at parents who want to travel in comfort and style, but at the same time, they want their baby to be safe. The child seat is replaces the passenger seat and it can turn and lock in any direction that the parent wants.
Volvo recommends that children of up 4 years, should travel with the seat facing the opposite direction of the car, because of the disproportionate size and weight of their head and because of the lack of muscle strength in their neck.
