Yamaha Corporation and Yamaha Motor presented the Root or «√» concept. This is the first time that the Yamaha Motor presents a motorcycle, that they have designed in collaboration with Yamaha Corporation, the company that produces musical instruments.
The project is definitely interesting and different. The bike is based on an MT-07, which is painted black and has a very small tank. The thing that stands out the most on the bike, is the curved board-saddle covering almost the entire upper part of the motorcycle and the enclosed wheels. The bike is beautiful, but surely not practical, that is why if it ever passes to production, it will be different, if it had a saddle that ends right before the tank, it would make an awesome cafe racer.
