The car was sold in 1997 to an Australian amateur racing driver, named John Potter. Its engine was changed and it was replaced with a 3-liter engine of Nelson Engineering Services. The car took part in several rallies in Australia, winning the Targa Tasmania in 1998.
In 2012 it was bought by someone in UK and now it is going to be auctioned by Bonhams, next month. It has a livery of Rothmans Rally and other stickers that it wore in 1985 and it is in excellent condition. Its price is estimated to reach between £100,000 and 120,000.
