Audi has trademarked the Q4 name

In early April 2014, Audi presented the sketches of the Q4 Concept, but the German company was in conflict with Fiat for the use of the names Q2 and Q4 and so at the official presentation of the prototype, they called it Audi TT Offroad Concept.

Earlier this year, Audi, however, got the right to use the names Q2 and Q4 from the FCA, without FCA losing its right to use the names as well.

The Audi Q2 was presented six months ago at the Geneva Motor Show and recently it was discovered that the German company has trademarked in the European copyright office the S Q4 name, since 2013. This means that the German company has been in the making of a quick version of a coupe crossover.

The name Q4, however, was recently registered, indicating that this model is not very far, from presentation, with rumors saying that it will be presented in 2018 or 2019.
