Henrik Fisker announced the creation of a new car company, called Fisker Inc, which aims to present a luxury electric car in the second half of 2017.
According to the announcement, the new company has patented a new battery technology that could give the car a range of more than 640 km. The only thing revealed by the company for the car is the above teaser sketch, with this car being the “spiritual successor of the Fisker Karma that will feature sports touches and it will be comfortable and beautiful”.
The battery of the car will be developed by Fisker Nanotech and it will be a lithium battery that has a different way of storing electricity in relation to the corresponding lithium-ion batteries currently on the market. Fisker Inc wants also to produce a more affordable model, probably to compete with the Tesla Model 3.
