The blue Lexus LF-LC Concept was presented in Geneva. The hybrid concept car by Lexus was first presented in Detroit in early 2012, and almost certainly will go into production in 2015 at a cost of between $ 100,000 and $ 130,000.
It is a futuristic 2+2 hybrid sports coupe car, featuring steeply raked windshield and a large glass panoramic roof. The prototype is designed by Calty studio and shows us the new design philosophy that Lexus will have in the future. The blue Opal Blue color, comes from the natural color of Australian gemstones.
The production version of the car car will probably be equipped with a 5.0 liter hybrid V8 engine with 507 horsepower which will be able to complete the 0-100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.
On the interior, wood, aluminum and leather are used. There are two LCD touchscreens of 12.3 inches through which the driver can control the air conditioning, navigation system and audio system. There is also a pop-up touch keyboard to help the passenger typing more comfortable long texts. Tthe buttons that control the windows and mirrors are also touch sensitive. The Lexus says that many design elements of the original will go in the production version of the car over the next 2 years.
