Ford announced that they have produced 5.000.000 EcoBoost engines for their cars. The car equipped with the 5,000,000th engine this car is a red Ford Focus, which came out of the factory production line in Michigan, USA, and it is equipped with a 1 liter three-cylinder EcoBoost, which delivers 125 hp and 170 Nm of torque.
The first car that was avaialble with the family of EcoBoost engines was a Taurus SHO in 2009 and this year marks the first year that Ford offers the EcoBoost engine across the range of its models in the US market.
