BMW will officially present the new 7-Series on June 10th. The new 7-Series will be based on the CLAR platform of the company and it will be the first model of the brand that makes extensive use of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer), aluminum and high strength steel. This means that the weight of the luxury sedan will be on average up to 130 kilos less than that of the previous generation.
The car will also feature a semi-autonomous driving system, while it will be available with a new generation of 6-cylinder engines and a 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8.
