BMW celebrates the 40th anniversary of the 3-Series, launching a special, “40th Anniversary Edition” of the 340i, exclusively for the Japanese market. The car is based on the 340i M Sport and it is painted in a Tanzanite Blue color combined with a black grille and 19 inch alloy wheels.
It is equipped with a TwinPower Turbo, six-cylinder in-line 3 liter engine that delivers 326 hp and 450 Nm of torque, combined to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The interior is lined with Dakota leather and equipped with a piano black decorative leather dashboard of BMW Individual, a head-up display and an Harman/Kardon audio system. The sales of this special edition will start on 3 October with a price starting at 8.790.000 yen.
