Chevrolet has already presented in July the 2016 Silverado and now the American company gives more info on the car. The pickup features a front part with new bumpers, less chrome elements, LED foglights, a new grille and new lights. New is also the bonnet and the available rims.
It is available in five trim levels: the WT, the LT, the LTZ, the Z71 and the High Country, and in terms of equipment the renewed Silverado will wear the latest-generation of the MyLink infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Mechanically, the 2016 Silverado 1500 will be equipped with three Ecotec3 engines. The basic version has a 4.3 liter V6 with 285 hp and 413 Nm of torque, then another version is equipped with a 5.3- iter V8 with 355 hp and 519 Nm of torque and finally the top version has a 6.2 liter V8 with 420 horses and 623 Nm of torque. All the engines are combined with a new 8-speed automatic transmission, which previously was only available with the 6.2 liter engine.
