According to Imran Jalal, head of the marketing department of Lincoln, the Lincoln Continental will be presented at the Detroit auto show, next January and it will be based on the prolonged CD4 front-wheel drive platform of Ford, which is used by the Mondeo and the Fusion, with a four-wheel drive system, to be offered on the optional equipment.
It will be available with a 3 liter V6 Ecoboost engine and a four-cylinder engine that will be offered in the Chinese market. Its production will take place at Ford’s plant in Flat Rock.
