BMW presented the 3.0 CSL Hommage concept, the car that pays homage to the classic 1970 3.0 CSL. The concept is designed by the head of design of BMW, Adrian van Hooydonk and it demonstrate the glorious heritage of the company.

The car features thin lights and an aggressive body kit, that has retro touches, while at the rear of the car we see a large spoiler.
The interior features wood on the dashboard, carbon, high quality leather and six-point seat belts. The 3.0 CSL Hommage concept is not based on an existing model of the company, with BMW to design and manufacture the car from scratch, with their main aim to be to make the car as lightweight as possible.
The modern version of the model makes extensive of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), while BMW did not reveal any specifications for the car, but they just said that it is equipped with a powerful 6-cylinder in-line engine.
