BMW presented a hydrogen fuel prototype futuristic vehicle, that is based on the i8, with its design, to give us an idea of how the future models of the “i-brand” will look like.
BMW did not publish detailed technical specifications about the concept car, but they said that the hydrogen storage tank of the car, is centrally located on its floor, while the cells are located at the rear.
The car has done many thousands of kilometers of testing and recently it has been retired, with special 5-Series prototypes taking its place. The first hydrogen car of BMW, will be launched on the market by 2020.
