At the end of the second day of the Los Angeles auto show, Chevrolet presented the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept.
The car is a prototype and it features a redesigned front grille with an integrated winch. It has also inflated hood, wider fenders and bead-lock style 18 inch alloy wheels with off-road tires. The interior is luxurious featuring black leather seats, new instrument panel graphics and ZR2 logos.
The prototype is equipped with a 2.8 liter Duramax diesel that delivers 181 hp with 500 Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Other mechanical changes to the car include new lower wishbone, coilover suspension, a kit that increases the ground clearance by 5 centimeters and new differentials on both axles.
