Ford unveiled some months ago the new racing GT, which will participate in the WEC Championship in 2016. The car is based on the new GT and it will participate also in the LM GTE-Pro class and in the 24-hour endurance race of Le Mans, with Ford announcing today its drivers.

The four drivers will be Marino Franchitti, who won the 12-hour race of Sebring in 2014, Stefan Mücke, that has three podium finishes at Le Mans and six wins in WEC, Olivier Pla, who has extensive experience in the LMP2 class and finally, Andy Priaulx, who has won the European and the World Touring Car Championships.
