Mercedes-Benz, as we know at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, at the end of the month, will present the revamped CLS, just a few days after the official presentation on June 23.

Today, however, the German company released some teaser photos and gave some further details on the revamped CLS and CLS Shooting Brake. The luxurious four-door coupe will come on the market from the middle of September and it will have limited changes, which are located in the new front bumper, the new grille and the new Multibeam LED lights. The last will be adjusted automatically to provide optimum visibility, better than ever, and consist of 24 individually controlled LED fixtures, which can change position 100 times per second, using a camera and four control systems.

The lights detect vehicles driving in front of the CLS and the beam is automatically adjusted so that other drivers can not be “blinded”.

The LED Multibeam headlamps also use a built-in camera to detect upcoming turns and to illuminate the road completely. Finally, the system uses the navigation system to detect upcoming roundabouts so that the headlights provide maximum brightness in advance.
