Volvo announced that the V60 Cross Country will make its official debut at the Los Angeles auto show later this month.

The V60 Cross Country, has an increased ground clearance by 65 mm and protection in the front and the rear to get a lightweight off-road character. It also features inflated fenders, side protective covers and rectangular exhausts at the rear. The potential customers will be able to order their own V60 Cross Country with alloy wheels of 18 or 19 inches and dress them with high-profile tires. The interior features leather seats with black coffee-colored stitches.

The Volvo V60 Cross Country will initially be available from early 2015 in the US and Canada with a five-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 250 hp combined with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Later it will be sold in other markets and it will be available with a Drive-E version plus petrol and diesel engines, which will be available with or without the four-wheel drive.
