Mercedes-Benz presented at their site the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the C63 AMG S. The new C63 AMG, which is available in 4 versions (sedan, coupe, convertible and estate), is wearing an aggressive body kit consisting of sport and muscular front and rear bumpers, spoiler, bigger airways, the characteristic 18 inch AMG alloy wheels, quad exhaust tailpipes and brakes with a size of 360 mm. front and 330 mm. back.
The interior features sports leather bucket seats, a three-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals, carbon background on the instrument panel, that has a top speed writing of 320 km/h and Burmester audio. The entire interior is lined with leather upholstery and the dashboard is from ARTICO.
Under the hood, the C63 AMG will be equipped with a new twin-turbo, 4,0 liter V8 engine which will produce 476 hp and 650 Nm of torque. Combined with the known 7G-MCT Speedshift automatic transmission, which sends the power only to the rear wheels, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 sec, with the top speed to be electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The S version, is equipped with a V8 engine producing 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque, which enables it to do the 0-100 km/h in 4.1 sec, with the top speed to be electronically limited to 250 km/h.
It will make its official appearance in Paris in early October, with orders to start in mid-October, with the first deliveries to be made by February 2015 for the sedan, and from April 2015 for the estate version.
