These are the first sketches of the Mercedes AMG GT3, the racing version of the AMG-GT, which has been announced since last November by the company. The new racing car will be presented in early March at the Geneva auto show.
It will be equipped with a 6,2 liter V8 engine, the same one as the SLS AMG GT3. The engine will be the same, because Mercedes-AMG can not prepare until 2016 a new engine that meets the FIA regulations for the 2016 GT3 championship. The car will start to run in races in 2016.
