Mercedes-Benz presented at Geneva a model based on the V-Class, called Concept V-ision e Plug-in Hybrid, based on the 2014 V-Class, using the same powertrain as the Mercedes C350.

The powertrain consists of a four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 210 hpr and 350 Nm of torque, combined with an electric motor producing 122 hp and 340 Nm of torque. The combined system performance reaches 333 hp and 600 Nm of torque, which according to Mercedes is capable of accelerating the vehicle to 100 km/h from standstill in 6.1 seconds, having a top speed of 208 km/h while the average fuel consumption does not exceed 3 liters per 100 km and the emissions reach 71 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Also, the concept has a range of 50 km using only the electric motor, although the maximum speed is limited to 80 km/h.

Regarding the design, the Concept V-ision e, features new bumpers and side skirts, new 20 inch alloy wheels and a discreet spoiler at the end of the roof. The rear cabin has two leather seats with and two cases for iPads that are embedded in the back of the front seats.
