Mercedes has started the production of the S-Class Cabriolet at their plant in the city of Sindelfingen, Germany. Orders for the car will start at the end of the month, with the first deliveries to begin next spring.

The Mercedes-Benz S500 Cabriolet is equipped with a 4.7 liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing 455 hp with 700 Nm of torque, the S63 AMG Cabriolet is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 engine producing 485 hp with 900 Nm of torque, that enables it to do the 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with its top speed limited to 250 km/h.
