Aston Martin today unveiled the Aston Martin CC100 during the 24-hour race of Nürburgring. The Aston Martin CC100 Concept is part of the celebrations of 100ston birthday of the company, and is a tribute to the legendary racing DBR1 of 1959, which took the victory in the race of Le Mans.
It is a two-seater speedster vehicle borrowing retro elements from the DBR1 but simultaneously it has many modern elements.
Itfeatures a body entirely made of carbon and it is equipped with a V12 6,0-liter engine which is combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.The 0-100 km/h is comlpeted in 4 seconds and it has a top speed of 290 km/h, electronically limited.
It has a length of 4.5 meters, a width of 2 meters and weighs less than 1,200 kg. It was developed and manufactured in six months at the central factory of Aston Martin in Gaydon, England, and just one copy will be released, which has already been sold for close to €1.2 million.
